Inclusions
A Costa Rican performance tour includes everything you’ll need for a wonderful tour. Our goal is to include as much as possible while still giving you the freedom to make your own decisions. Thus, you will notice a great deal of items are included, from breakfasts to excursions.
From the moment you start planning your trip to the moment your return home your dedicated tour advisor will be there to assist in making your trip to Costa Rica a success.
No need to speak spanish, although that doesn’t mean you can’t practice. In fact, all tours include bilingual tour guides so you can practice with them.
Accommodation in either 3 to 4 star (depending on which tour you choose) hotels is provided.
All ground transportation is included in your tour. We utilize modern, air conditioned vehicles for all transportation needs.
Activities such as hanging bridge tours and zip-lining are included.

Arrive in San Jose
Arrive in San Jose and enjoy the day and evening exploring the capital of Costa Rica. Your local tour manager will greet you at the airport and arrange for your transfer to the hotel.

Tortuguero
Awaken to a cup of famous Costa Rican coffee and travel through Braulio Carrillo National Park toward the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. Travel aboard a river boat through the lush rainforest and mystical canals teaming with wildlife. Keep your eyes open as the jungle is full of amazing animals; monkeys, sea turtles, otters, manatees, ocelots, sloths, caiman and exotic birds. Arrive at your Tortuguero lodge where you will have the afternoon to visit the village, relax by the pool or explore the beach. In the evening you will enjoy a buffet dinner under the stars and along the Tortuguero lagoon.

Tortuguero
Wake up. That majestic noise you hear are the howler monkeys singing in the morning. What a fabulous way to start the day. This morning you will meet your local guide and go on a boat guided adventure through Tortuguero National Park. Your guide will help you spot the various wildlife and educate you on the area. Be on the look out for iguanas, sloths, toucans, caiman, capuchin monkeys, spider monkeys, howler monkeys and crocodiles. Spend the afternoon exploring or relaxing, the choice is yours. If you’re visiting during nesting season (Jul-Sep), you can choose to take a night tour with a naturalist guide and witness the sea turtles lay their eggs. A truly unforgettable experience. Tonight you will enjoy another delicious buffet dinner.

Tortuguero – Arenal
Say goodbye to the beautiful jungle and cruise back to the mainland, where you will transfer the town of La Fortuna and the majestic Arenal Volcano, an active volcano reaching almost 6,000 feet. Along your journey to Arenal, you will stop for lunch. Then you will arrive at your resortand relax the rest of the day. Take this time to have a soak in the natural hot springs or go for a walk in the quaint town of La Fortuna.

Arenal
Good morning. Start your day with a delicious breakfast and then head out for a guided walking tour through Arenal National Park. Explore the lava rocks and learn about the volcanoes rich history. From there you will embark on your journey through the famous Arenal hanging bridges where you will walk through the top of the jungle canopy with monkeys, bird and sloths.

Arenal – San Jose
On day 6 you will return to San Jose where you will participate in a music work shop with one of our prestigious clinicians. You will also have time to explore and take in the sites of Costa Rica’s capital city.

San Jose
Day 7 is your big performance day. You will visit a local coffee plantation and discover the inner workings of Costa Rica’s famous coffee plantations. Then you will head back to the city to rehearse for your grand performance at the Teatro Nacional. Following the performance, you will be hosted to a farewell dinner in honor of your journey through Costa Rica.

Transfer to San Jose’s Santa Maria International Airport for your flight. Pura Vida!
Options and Upgrades
We want to give you options. Below are our standard options and upgrades. However, if you don’t see what you are looking for please don’t hesitate to ask, we can accommodate just about any request.
Hotel Upgrade
Our Costa Rican performance tours are offered using 3 star accommodations. However, if you would like 4 and 5 star hotel accommodations we can arrange for that as well.
Flight Transfers
Rather then drive from one stop to the next, you can fly. For example, the drive from Arenal to Manuel Antonio is 5 hours. You can choose to forgo the drive and fly, which only takes 30 minutes. We can arrange a flight for any portion of your journey. There are a number of flying options from charter airplanes and helicopters to local airlines. Your travel advisor will be happy to discuss these options with you.
Additional Activities
There are an abundance of activities in Costa Rica and we have included some of the best in this tour. However, if there is an additional activity you would like to add or you would like some advice about additional activities please ask your travel advisor. For example, you may want to find a local surf spot, visit a particular coffee plantation or maybe you want to go river rafting. Whatever it may be, please let us know and we’ll make it happen.
